About
Experience and Training
I attended my first yoga class in November 2011 when a friend wanted company to try out Bikram yoga. I fell in love with yoga from that first class. The class made me focus my attention inwards, completely absorbed in the teacher’s cues, the movement of my body and the sensations within. After class, my mind felt clearer. I felt like I was able to see things more clearly than before.
Since then, I have had a committed yoga practice for over 11 years, primarily focusing on Vinyasa yoga and Hatha yoga. I am also inspired by the practices of Iyengar yoga and Sivananda yoga.
I have had the opportunity to meet some life-changing teachers, whose teachings have had enduring positive impact on my life.
In 2022, I completed Jason Crandell's 200-hour Vinyasa yoga teacher training program, which was co-taught by Adam Hocke, Adam Husler and Jasmin Bahia at triyoga in London. This comprehensive teacher training program allowed me to deepen my understanding of asana practice, functional anatomy, yoga philosophy and teaching methodology.
Yoga has become one of my most important tools in developing mental clarity, inner consciousness, and mental and emotional strength and resilience.
Classes
Dynamic and fluid Vinyasa yoga
Alignment-focused Hatha yoga
My classes are characterized by thoughtful and progressive sequencing, clear verbal cues and a focus on breath and alignment.
My classes are designed to be challenging but accessible and inclusive. At the physical level, my classes build both strength and flexibility, with different options offered to suit different physical needs. Beyond the physical level, I strive to help my students cultivate their mind-body-breath connection and direct their attention inwards.
My aim is for all my students to leave my classes with a deep sense of well-being.
